Pierside Capital Announces Follow-On Investment with Madison Resorts in Wildwood Crest, NJ

1/19/24 Huntington Beach, California: Pierside Capital is pleased to announce a follow on investment with Madison Resorts in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Back in May 2023, through its relationship with Emerson Equity LLC and affiliate Schelin Uldricks & Co., Pierside Capital’s principals provided co-G.P. capital for the acquisition of a 70-key boutique hotel in Cape May, NJ. Now, the firm’s principals have provided an additional equity investment with Madison Resorts to acquire and reposition 2 adjacent hotels in nearby Wildwood Crest, NJ totaling 198-keys.  

“This investment further demonstrates our group’s ability to source attractive opportunities and invest programmatically with emerging sponsors,” commented Derek Uldricks, Managing Partner. Our investment group has helped Madison Resorts increase the size of its portfolio in the south New Jersey Market and positioned them for even further growth.

The recently acquired properties include the Oceanfront Motel (110-keys) and the Royal Hawaiian Resort (88-keys). Both properties will undergo significant renovation in the coming months and be operated together as Madison Resort Wildwood Crest.
